🎉🎉 Prop16 has passed 🎉🎉

The Donor Drop 2 governance proposal, Prop16, passed. We exceeded the 144 million NAM quorum threshold with an overwhelming ‘yay’ tally—the voters are approving the airdrop! We expect the Namada protocol to automatically airdrop the NAM in full to all listed addresses on June 8, 2025 🪂

Here’s what to know and expect

April 19 update

• Prop16 passed 🎉 and we expect the NAM allocations to automatically be airdropped to donors in ~50 days (200 6-hour epochs) —> around June 8
• Since the target to launch the proposal was aimed at April 2, but was actually launched April 12, we asked for a 50-day allocation grace period instead of 60 to deduct the 10 delayed days.
  • The delay? We found a problem that needed 10 days to resolve prior to launching the airdrop proposal
• We tested the governance proposal here on the Housefire testnet: https://explorer75.org/namada-housefire/proposals/21
